The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is taking its summer camp online.
For the first time the camp will be held virtually, between July 5 and 30.
Suitable for kids aged between five and 18, there will be language lessons, UN Model activities, theatre and music lessons and design, creative writing, technology, science, engineering and mathematics courses, as well as sports and arts.
Abeer Al Khalifa, executive director of Academic Affairs, at pre-university education at the institution, said they wanted to continue providing the summer camp but with the country's precautionary measures to stop COVID-19 in mind.
She added that the cam will promoting skills such as leadership, team work, and creativity, as well as supporting and encouraging success and personal excellence, adding that this year the camp offers special courses for talented students that help and encourage them to excel.
