Sip and dine with Nobu The end of the month promises to be most exciting for culinary aficionados as Matsuhisa Nobu is coming to town. Nobu in Town, an exclusive two-day culinary celebration will allow guests to sip, savour and socialise with the celebrity chef himself in the restaurant. There’s an exciting line up of events taking place over two days from sushi classes to an omakase dinner and beverage pairing with chef Nobu. Baladna is back Baladna Park opens this month and they are introducing some major attractions such as interactive games, mentally and physically stimulating activities from zip line, bicycles and archery to bumper boats and obstacle courses. Open daily 10am-7pm. Exit 44, Al Khor (4035 8833).

Cook with the masters Attend a demonstration from IDAM’s executive chef, Damien Leroux, and his team who will share their passion for gastronomy and provide a first-hand insight into the seasonal menu infused with a local twist. Relax At The Ritz Beach Since beach season is here, check out The Ritz-Carlton Doha’s brand new beach. Chill out at the restaurant and bar with light bites and beverages, go fishing or diving, practice some sunrise yoga, play a game of beach volleyball with the family or just take a refreshing dip. Take a work break at Wyndham There’s a brand new hotel in West Bay and if you work in the area, you’ll be happy to know a super business lunch is on offer. Besides the novelty of visiting a new property, you’ll have a very happy wallet by the end of it. The set menus feature traditional Arabic, Western and Malaysian delights. Visit the newest hotel in Wakra Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli has just opened in Al Wakra and the blend of Qatari tradition with contemporary leisure is striking. The new hotel comprises of two buildings, both former heritage houses mirroring a Qatari house or fortress. Check out CLAW Dress down and kick back in the newly opened CLAW BBQ this weekend. The seafood buckets are massive and we can’t get enough of the plastic bibs. There are steaks, burgers and fajitas, too, among other tasty dishes on the menu. When you’re not eating or watching a game on one of the 38 screens, chill out with the cool staff (with names like Earth Child on their shirts), play arcade games and a round of billiards or just admire the fun neon signs and humorous posters.
