Doughnut fans in Doha, the future is looking bright for you. Global brand Duck Donuts has opened its first shop in the city, with a further four more in the pipeline.
Found in Printemps Doha in Doha Oasis, shoppers can now refuel with a coffee and doughnut at the new Duck Donuts outlet.
Famed for its made-to-order doughnuts, sweet-toothed shoppers can choose from a range of flavours, toppings, drizzles and coatings to elevate their tasty snack.
Flavours include chocolate icing with hot chocolate fudge, raspberry glaze with marshmallow drizzle, s’mores, maple icing with chopped bacon and salted caramel, peanut butter and jelly, cinnamon sugar, vanilla icing with rainbow sprinkles, pina colada, French toast and chocolate and strawberry.
There are also savoury breakfast doughnut sandwiches stuffed with scrambled eggs and cheese, bacon, egg and cheesy or fried egg, sausage patty and cheese. Fancy something extra sweet? Go for a doughnut sundae such as peanut butter crunch, cookies and cream or chocolate madness.
That’s not all, as there are new drinks that are exclusive to Duck Donuts Doha. Get ready for a Spanish latte – a blend of espresso and condensed milk – as well as a matcha latte, a blend of traditional Japanese match with steamed milk.
The store itself features colourful furnishings as well as smaller tables and chairs for kids, so the whole family can enjoy a bite to eat. Kids can also take part in cooking and baking workshops in the kidswear department in Printemps.
With outlets across the world including in Egypt, Canada and Saudi Arabia, Duck Donuts first set up shop in 2007 in the beach resort towns of Duck and Kitty Hawk in North Carolina in America. There are currently more than 125 Duck Donuts stores across the USA.
Printemps Doha is the largest luxury department store in the Middle East and Duck Donuts joins restaurants including Crazy Pizza, Twiga and Cova, as well as plant-based, gluten-free café Wild & The Moon.
