Good news, culture vultures – Qatar National Library has unveiled its June events.
First up on Sunday June 5, Earthna, Center for a Sustainable Future, will be hosting the first in a series of events on the ecology of Qatar, with the launch of Hidden Beauty by Dr. Renee Richer and a panel discussion on restorative policies for hot arid lands.
Then on Tuesday June 7, it’s time for the library’s second virtual book discussion, this time focusing on Celestial Bodies by Omani author Jokha Alharthi.

Love the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra? Us too.
And on Tuesday June 14, the MAqam ensemble will be back at the library with a programme mixing Arabic and electronic music.
Finally, on Friday June 24, Qatar National Library will be offering up a workshop where you can learn about self-confidence and building self-esteem with self-development coach Hessa Al-Mohannadi.
