Naomi Campbell is set to host a couture fashion show in Education City this month – and you can book tickets now.
The supermodel, who founded the charity Fashion for Relief back in 2005, will be coming to Doha to launch a new global initiative, EMERGE, in partnership with Qatar Creates.
The EMERGE initiative will involve the creation of new apprenticeships, after school and university programmes focused on creative and alternative industries such as general education, fashion, technology, art, sustainable innovations, and agriculture.
The charity event, held on Friday October 28 at the Ceremonial Court, will see award-winning designers from Africa, the Diaspora and the Middle East showcase their work.

This includes Thebe Magugu, who “explores Africa’s storied past to inform his eponymous label’s multifaceted collections embedded into cultural honour, novelty, and uncompromising quality”, Bianca Saunders, who “experiments with preconceived notions of masculinity”, and Nkwo Onwuka, who has been advocating for sustainable fashion in Nigeria for more than a decade.
More than 1,000 VIP guests from across the worlds of fashion, entertainment, arts and business will be in attendance.

Tickets for the standing areas are free, while seats in the fourth row are priced at QR910, rising up to QR3,650 for front row seats.
One Pass holders who purchased the Gold Pass will be entitled to a 20 percent discount, while the Platinum Pass entitles you to 40 percent off.
