Al Markhiya Gallery launches new exhibition

Al Markhiya Gallery has launched a new exhibition.

Entitled 2030, the showcase features the work of a number of Qatar-based artists and is part of efforts to stimulate the growing art scene.

Work from artists including Abdul Aziz Yousef, Ali Dasmal Al Kuwari and Shouq Al Mana will be on display.

The show is part of a series of exhibitions celebrating Qatar’s history and future growth, the first of which finished last week.

You can check out the exhibition at the Doha Fire Station from now until October 2.

While visiting the Al Markhiya Gallery, make sure you check out the Fire Station’s Garage Gallery for an exhibition on Picasso’s Studios.

The showcase features work from his studios over the decades, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and ceramics.
