Doha Fire Station
This massive exhibition covers 700 sq m and features three sections – Tangible Spectrums, The Edge of Thoughts and Visual Sphere, at the Garage Gallery. On display until September 1, the Infinite Dimensions exhibition allows visitors to discover local contemporary art through different displays of artwork, practices and mediums including sculpture, painting, video and sound works. Several local and international artists have their works displayed.

Katara Cultural Village
In collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines, this intriguing exhibition features works by artist Frederick Epistola. The exhibition entitled Hugis at Kulay explores a variety of shapes and hues as seen by the artist. It’s on until August 30 and you don’t want to miss this.

National Museum of Qatar
Curated by Rem Koolhas, Samir Bantal and Fatma Al Sehlawi, Making Doha: 1950 – 2030 that was inaugurated along with the National Museum of Qatar is open to the public until August 30. The exhibition is a retrospective of Doha’s evolution over a span of 70 years via archival photography, models, plans, films, historic and oral narratives. And this is an excellent opportunity to check out one of Time’s 100 greatest places in the world if you haven’t already.
