Msheireb Museums, the four heritage houses and the cultural destination at Msheireb Downtown Doha, are now open once more.
They will open from Sunday to Thursday between 9am and 2.39pm, with strict measures in place to maintain peoples safety.
Social distancing will be enforced, visitors numbers will be reduced, everyone will have to show a green status on the Ehteraz app and wear a mask.
The museums have also been sanitised inside and out.
Dr. Hafiz Ali Abdullah, Msheireb Museums director, said: “Msheireb Museums is delighted to welcome visitors again in its four heritage houses to enjoy educational and entertaining experiences. The cultural landmark will receive visitors at dedicated times with limited capacity to ensure a safe journey to everyone. We, at Msheireb Museums, took all the precautionary measures and did a comprehensive sanitation campaign to guarantee a safe experience to our staff and visitors.”
The museums are part of Msheireb Downtown Doha, Qatar’s first sustainable regeneration project. They celebrate the history of four historic heritage houses in the oldest part of the capital.
