Explore the world from your sofa in Doha with Google Arts & Culture

We might not be able to travel and explore all the wonderful attractions and culture the world has to offer, but thanks for Google Arts & Culture art-lovers and culture vultures in Qatar can access content from more than 2,000 leading museums and archives around the world at just a click of a button.

The free-to-use platform allows people to have immersive experiences through high-resolution images, videos and virtual reality and explore artworks and cultural artefacts from top cultural organisations around the world.

The platform has super-cool features like Art Camera that allows art aficionados to see the tiniest of details in paintings and take in-painting tours with commentary on the artwork.

There's loads of other awesome things to see and do including a treasure hunt at London’s British Museum using Street View or an encounter with Jurassic dinosaur thanks to 360-degree videos.

There is also a dedicated page for families to discover more about art, culture, music and art together in a fun and engaging way.

That’s your weekend sorted. Happy museum-hopping.
