American fun in Doha

Every year, the American Chamber of Commerce teams up with the US Embassy Doha for a week-long celebration of all things American.

The annual Discover America week aims to highlight US business, innovation, travel, food, music, fashion, art and culture, beginning with an “American Beauty Breakfast” on President’s Day (think beauty tips, waffles and potluck).

Other events are set to include an informative forum on doing business and investing across the Atlantic, a golf tournament and the chance to test-drive a Chevy.

Thinking of planning a holiday stateside? Pass by the Qatar Airways booth in Gate Mall to find out about deals and promotions. And in addtition to the screening of Alive Inside at the MIA, Novo Cinemas at The Pearl will be holding free screenings of The Revenant (Mon Feb 15) and Selma (Mon Feb 22).
