Time Out Says

Over the years that we’ve been regulars at Paloma, we’ve noticed the crowds getting shadier, the food getting better and the drinks finishing faster. Paloma, however, is one of those places you absolutely have to experience if you’re in Doha.

We head over here for a low-key night out in one of the few spots in Doha that has live music. Paloma’s resident bands are always changing and we never have anything to complain about. Depending on what night you’re visiting the music ranges from alternative rock and classics to hits from the ’90s and latest pop tunes.

Currently, MVM (Music Vending Machine) is the resident band and from what we’re hearing, it’s one of the best in Doha now.

There’s a delicious Tex-Mex menu that we make the best of every time we come here and a standard beverage menu that might be slightly more expensive that its counterparts in other hotels. Try the sirloin fajitas which are excellent. The bar is right in the centre and is manned by the nicest bartenders we’ve ever met.

Ladies nights here are usually quieter than most other similar places in town, so if you’re a bunch of gals wanting a not-so-noisy night out, this might be your best bet. Every Wednesday, ladies get two free drinks from 10pm until midnight. We’ll be at the front with our burritos, singing along to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
