Time Out Says

There was a time a few years ago one Belgium-themed nightspots and pubs were the "in thing" and this international chain expanded to more than 25 outlets as far afield as Thailand, New Zealand and across the Middle East. The appeal is clear - unpretentious, homely surroundings, a large selection of drink (many notably Belgian and unique in Doha) and a generous shake of European charm.

It is something the Belgian Café does well and it is not uncommon to find tables full of expats and tourists crowding over a bowl of mussels, we should mention this is some of the best bar food in Doha, and doing their best impression of revellers in a pub in a busy Belgian city square.
