A massive electronic music festival is happening in Doha

We have incredible news. The legendary Daydream Festival is coming to Qatar for the first time and fans of electronic music will be treated to live performances from the world’s best DJs and musicians.

While you completely digest that, there’s more exciting news. Global star DJs Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, who have iconic shows at the biggest music festivals in the world, are set to perform at Daydream Festival in Doha, organised by Qatar Airways and QNTC.

The internationally-renowned festival takes place each year at different locations around the world, bringing together the best DJs in dance and electronic music. It’s known for its theatrical décor and fairy tale-like atmosphere, allowing all attendees to feel like they’re having an unforgettable dream.

The festival began in 2010 in Belgium and expanded to countries such as the Netherlands, Mexico, China and Spain.

Organised by Alchemy Project, the festival will take place for two days at The Ritz-Carlton Island on Thursday December 12 and Friday December 20.

The line-up includes top international artists who will be performing in Doha for the first time. Some of the DJs performing on December 12 are Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, Matt Sochon and Wankelmut, aside from Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike.

On December 20, you can party to the tunes of Afrojack, Lost Frequencies, Mark Knight, Jonas Blue, Steff Da Campo and Matt Sochon, all of whom will perform live at the festival.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to get your friends to visit Doha, this is the perfect occasion. Additionally, from now until December 21, Qatar Airways is offering special deals on economy and business class flights for global passengers visiting Doha.

For visitors travelling from Kuwait and Oman, Qatar Airways Holidays is offering special packages that will cover flights, hotels, airport transfers and concert tickets when travelling to Qatar.

For travellers from the rest of the world, packages and stopovers covering hotels and transfers are available through Discover Qatar.

The Daydream Festival is organised by Alchemy Project as part of Qatar Live, a series of music concerts and festivals taking place in Doha from December 4 to 19. The events have been organised to align with the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup Qatar 2019 and the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 to provide world-class entertainment for football fans, visitors and local residents.

Global superstars such as Katy Perry, legendary band Maroon 5, international Latin music star Maluma and music legend Cheb Khaled are all having live concerts this December and you don’t want to miss any of them.
