Three Middle Eastern artists will be presenting new works in a joint exhibition. Lebanese painter and graphic artist Rafik Majzoub, Iraqi painter and designer Saddam Aljuamily and Syrian graphic artist Yasser Safi are all involved.

Once Upon a Butterfly

This is a moving solo exhibition of paintings by Lebanese artist Said Baalbaki who migrated from Lebanon during the civil war and again left Berlin following the fall of the wall. The exhibition tells the story of the artist himself – the migrating butterfly.

This lecture series is being presented by media artist Joachim Sauter from 6pm. Since the early 1980s, Joachim has been working as a media artist and designer focusing on digital technologies and how they can be used to express content, form and narration. It’s free and open to the public.

BBC Symphony Orchestra Concert
