Get cosy at Westin’s terrace
Okay, this is no Arctic igloo resort, but it comes quite close. Westin Doha’s new Winter Lodge has glass igloos and a big wooden tent with fluffy blankets and baubles of lights. It literally feels like you’re in a top European mountain resort. The food is delightful, too. Don’t miss the spicy chocolate mousse cake with KitKat crunch.

No joke, this is the absolute best place to be at in Doha right now. This evening bazaar in Duhail stadium parking is the ultimate destination for those who love the chilly outdoors at night. There are loads of coffee shops and burger joints (of course) besides other retail and food offerings. Walk under the beautiful lights or just relax in the large dining courtyard. It’s perfect for famillies or even groups of friends. You can even take your dog for a stroll. Hanging out at the Night Market is our favourite thing to do in the city this month.
Free entrance. Open daily 4pm-1am. Duhail Sports Club (5511 1248).
