Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Manko Doha

With a myriad of excellent options, it’s almost impossible to choose where to spend the most important day of the year (for most of us anyway). But if you’re looking for a sophisticated yet stylish venue that will not require you to empty your bank account, we’ve found the perfect spot for that.

Manko Doha is a chic, Parisian bar-lounge that’s just recently opened at the InterContinental Doha and this year end, you can catch the debut of Manko Loko, jive to the tunes of Parisian DJs and witness several special and exciting acts as you countdown to midnight.

Manko Doha will whip up some finely curated beverages including the signature Pisco Sour and if you get hungry, it’s the perfect opportunity to sample the unique Peruvian-style Japanese cuisine Nikkei. We’ve luckily managed to get a sneak peek of the New Year’s Eve menu and we assure you it’s delicious. There’s a marina burger, lamb sausages with anticuchera sauce, mashed potato and sour cream and several other appetisers. The dessert includes a chocolate half-moon, mixed berry crumble and caramel foam bubbles (we’re salivating already).

There are four separate lounge areas and each one is pretty unique. While you figure out where to settle down, pass by the outdoor terrace area for some of the most stunning views of the West Bay skyline as you groove to the beats.

We’ll be around in our shiniest outfits.
QR200 (per person including one house beverage), QR900 (table for two including two glasses of bubbles and Nikkei bites). Dec 31, 8pm-2am. InterContinental Doha, West Bay Lagoon (4484 4444).
