Aspire Winter Festival opens

The much-awaited family-friendly festival is finally open

Aspire Winter Festival opens

This has got to be one of the most exciting weekends we’ve had in a while.

The Aspire Winter Festival is now open and it’s massive.

One of Qatar’s largest entertainment events, the festival features more than 50 activities and all kids of entertainment for every member of the family. And if you’ve been reading Time Out Doha for a while, you’ll know just how much we love Aspire Park already. It’s one of Doha’s most beautiful locations, with its lush greenery, little hills, open-air gym, beautiful fountains and artificial lake with real ducks.

The activities are unique and fun and visitors are going to get to see musical performances, a pop-up art gallery, a pirate treasure hunt, an extreme rush slide (you’ll surely find us here), a circus, an extreme race, a 7D cinema (or actually here), a theatre, a sand pit, LEGO and board games, rock-climbing and archery stations. Just don’t cross us while we’re sharpening up our bow and arrow skills.

If that doesn’t sound exciting enough, the festival also has a dedicated food and beverage area with more than 14 exciting options to choose from (bring on the candyfloss). We’re already planning our Friday binge there.

Shopping fans, you’re going to love this. The festival is bringing more than 30 retail outlets and introducing many international brands, too. That’s it, we’re sold. See you there.
Free entry. Sun-Thu 4pm-10pm; Fri-Sat 3pm-10pm. Until May 1. Aspire Park, Al Waab (4413 8188).
