Annual PAWS Ball 2017

“Paww, so cute,” is what you’re going to say all night at this adorable ball. The Annual PAWS Ball is back for the second year in a row, and this time it’s bigger and better. The night is going to be fabulous, filled with entertainment, a delicious three-course meal, live music and a DJ, a silent auction and raffle prizes. The theme this year is ‘Glitz ‘n Glam’, so dress up and raise money for a good cause.

De-stress with Danielle

Danielle Matallana is in Doha and if you’re looking to de-stress, he offers a range of health services from yoga and fitness to meditation and massages. He’s doing several classes through the month, and they’re worth checking.

Fill up at Five Guys

Do you remember the kilometre-long queue for the longest time when The Cheesecake Factory opened in Qatar? The bad news is, that line is back (and longer). But the good news is, Five Guys is finally open in Doha, and we cannot be more excited. Customisation is key here with customers being able to choose from a possible 250,000 ways to have their order served.

Exciting exhibits

Mathaf has just officially reopened its doors, following a major update of its permanent collection of galleries. If you’re looking for something artsy to do over the weekend, definitely head here to see their new extensive collection that brings together landmark artists and pivotal works that redefine modern and contemporary art practises and historical narratives.

Enjoy an enchanting tea session

Sarab Lounge at The St. Regis has just taken their afternoon tea tradition to a whole new level, in partnership with TWG. The Enchanting Afternoon Tea features hand-crafted blends, a selection of savoury items and tea-infused sweets.

Bring it to a Bollywood Brunch

In case you didn’t know, the Indian Festival of Lights is celebrated this October and here’s your chance to go all-out Bollywood-style with a lavish Indian brunch spread. The event is going to be as spicy as the food, with all things desi.

See a shadow show
An interesting combination of magic and shadow theatre shows — The World of Shadows show along with Norvil & Josephine – will take place this month. The World of Shadows is a blend of theatre, dance, shadows and technology, where you can see shadows transform artistically into animals, cars, castles and more, while Norvil & Josephine will blend comedy magic with acrobatics and singing. Highlights include the famous contortion and flying table scene, their jaw-dropping escape from a chained trunk, and much more.
