Make the most of Eid

Staying in Doha during Eid? Don’t despair, there’s plenty of fun to be had in the city

Make the most of Eid

The Eid Al-Fitr festival kicks off on Friday July 17, running through to Tuesday July 21, and there’s plenty to do for all the family. The first day of festivities offers a huge range of family entertainment in the majority of Doha’s malls. Performances such as mime shows, bubble artists and paper magicians are sure to keep everyone entertained from 4pm, along with performances exclusive to whichever mall you choose to visit. Some of our favourite fictional characters are coming to life this Eid as well! Peter Pan will be making an appearance at City Centre mall, and if you fancy dropping by Hyatt Plaza, make sure to wish Pinocchio Eid Mubarak!Celebrations will also include music performances held daily in SouqWaqif, along with firework displays and live entertainment at Katara Cultural Village from 7.30pm onwards, daily. Also at Katara you won’t want to miss ‘Bishowish’, a dramatic comedic play written by Teyseer Abdullah that starts on Saturday July 18. So make sure you’re involved this Eid Al-Fitr. Whether you’re riding horses at Al-SamriyaEquesterian Academy or making the most of what’s on at The Pearl, this Eid won’t disappoint!
