Qatar Foundation (QF) has just partnered with QSports for a Ramadan sports initiative, ‘QF Ramadan Sports 2017’, set to kick off on May 28, 2017.

11 different competitions will be held with men’s tournaments including super sixes cricket, basketball, indoor futsal, Ramadan Cricket Cup T-12 (MRE), tennis – singles and doubles, outdoor 7-a-side football, volleyball, and squash, which will also be open to younger players aged 11 and up. Additionally, three competitions will run for women including squash, basketball, and volleyball.

All games will be played in the evening from 8.30pm-1.30am, in Qatar Foundation’s Recreation Center facilities. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the winning teams, in addition to medals and trophies.
The sports activities are open to all members of the community and places will be limited to the first 12-16 teams who register in each sport. Registration deadline is May 23. For more information, visit or
