MBCo’s biggest selling point may be its carefully considered menu, featuring options suitable for light bites, sharing plates or hefty meals. There is a substantial list of sandwiches and pastas, along with salads, pizzas and grilled items. Particularly impressive is the Nicoise salad with seared tuna filet; none of this stuff out of a can business. The ingredients are simple, fresh, and cleanly presented, echoing the décor of this café. The overall theme is pristine white, including its painted brick walls, which create an airy space. MBCo stops short of being sterile, mostly helped by a small but efficient team of servers who are helpful with menu suggestions and able to crack a joke - Doha brownie point. Because of the location along C-Ring Road, lunchtime attracts a predominantly business crowd. One might be tempted to return for dinner to sit outdoors although the view of a busy highway is admittedly less than riveting.
