This is a Lebanese restaurant. So, why Venice? Who knows, but whatever excuse Time Out can try to muster for the confused labelling, is beside the point. Venice is an upmarket Lebanese restaurant that serves hearty food from the Levant region. With tasty houmous, slightly tough meats but heart-warming spices, Venice doesn’t serve the city’s best Arabic fare, but the food is honest and tasty, and is certainly the pick of the lot on Al Sadd Street.
