Soy
Thai, Chinese and Japanese food, but the flavours of each remain authentic 1 Reviews

- Picture 1 of 2

This sprawling Souk Waqif eatery is a rabbit warren of VIP rooms, a sushi bar and numerous alcoves spanning what seems to be the top floor of around three to four buildings. Lanterns, oriental calligraphy, wall dividers, and red, gold and black furnishings decorate the inside as laid-back house music fills the air. Soy’s menu stretches over Thailand, China and Japan, but, surprisingly, the flavours and style of cuisines from each region are authentic. Select a few different plates, as many are made to share, like dim sum and noodle dishes. We didn’t try the sushi, but judging from the quality of the food, we’ll be back, especially for the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet on Tuesday nights – a steal at QR95.
