True to its name, there is a veranda at this Sheraton eatery, though we’re told that it’s rarely open for alfresco dining because it’s either too hot or too windy. Popular among the Doha ladies who lunch, the service can be a bit overbearing, bordering on annoying, while the food is mainstream Italian and passable. Overall, despite the water views and pretty decor, the ambience and food just don’t measure up.
