This two-and-a-half-storey venue is about as Italian-kitsch as restaurants get. Loud and quirky, it’s packed with punters almost every night of the week – in fact it’s impossible to get a table here without booking in advance. With that in mind, you’d expect the food to blow you away, but it won’t. Yet, in spite of the mediocre food, diners come here in droves to enjoy the lively atmosphere, and judging by the waiting list, The Italian Job is unlikely to lose it’s clientele any time soon.
