Taj Rasoi proves that good things come in small packages – it’s compact, but boasts one of the liveliest ambiences in Doha. A magnificent carved wooden doorway leads diners into the candle-lit and authentically Indian interior and every aspect of the decor has been given special attention, from the beautiful bird-adorned plates to the carved wooden boxes in which the bill is delivered. The chefs seem to have mastered the art of cooking seafood, with hammour and lobster being particular tongue-tingling highlights.
