Executive Chef Vinon Yergu has created a new summer menu with a creative melon twist. Taste delicate melon flavours in appetizers, salads, main courses and desserts. The summer melon menu is available throughout May in Aroma.

King of seafood

There are special lobster promotions throughout the month. It is open for lunch noon-3pm, and dinner 7pm-11pm.

One dish, ten ingredients
Throughout May, Il Teatro, Four Seasons Doha, West Bay (4494 8600).

In celebration of the hotel’s tenth anniversary, Risotto Ai Frutti Di Mare will be using ten ingredients for QR145 daily, from noon-3pm, 7pm-11pm.

Discover Lombardia

Swiss brunch

As part of the Swiss festivities at the Hyatt, there is a Swiss themed brunch and folk music from 12.30pm-4pm. It’s QR295 for a soft package, QR420 for a special one.

All-you-can-eat sushi
May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Sakura, Radisson Blu Doha, Intersection of C-Ring Road and Salwa Road (4428 1555).
Eat as much as you can for either QR220 or QR280, depending on your selection.

Hughie’s brunch

British bloke DJ Hughie pops over to provide the music for the brunch from 12.30pm-4pm.

Liguria promotion
May 10-17, Rocca, Grand Hyatt Doha, West Bay Lagoon (4448 1272).
A special à la carte menu designed by chef Marco, discovering the delicacies of this region in north west Italy.

Spanish week

Every day guest chef Angel Zapata Martin will be preparing something special. The X-Press lunch is a daily deal for QR95, dinner for QR155, pinxtos daily for QR65, taprunch on May 16 – it is QR225 for food only or QR325 for a special package from 12.30pm-4pm. There is also a DJ as well and more.

Discovering Italy
May 20 & 21, Sharq Village & Spa, Ras Abu Abboud (4425 6666).
Sharq Village & Spa has collaborated with Rosa Alpina Hotel & Spa, the five-star luxury resort and spa in the Dolomites, to provide guests with a taste of Italy, presented by Norbert Niederkofler, a two-Michelin-star Italian chef. It’s QR450 for a set menu and open from 6.30-11pm.

South Korea in Doha
May 18-June 8, Hwang & The Square, InterContinental Doha The City, West Bay (4015 8888).
InterContinental Doha The City welcomes three chefs from The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX to infuse Doha with the culture and culinary flavour of South Korea. There will be a selection of classic Korean favourites in the Hwang pan-Asian restaurant and in The Square. Try authentic Japchae, Dubu Kimchi, Jeonbokjuk and more!

Paint a Picasso

Cook with Chef Marco

Chef Marco will show you some tips and tricks of the trade to enable you to cook Italian dishes in the comfort of your own kitchen. You can book a cooking class at your desired time, provided there are a minimum of four participants. It is QR500 per person for a four-course set menu and on from 9am-noon.
