Fondue fanatics
Cheese and chocolate fondues are available as the Swiss tradition comes to Al Jalsa. The chocolate fondue comes with fresh-cut fruits. QR95. Open 2.00pm-5.00pm.

Try scallops
Try different scallop dishes from curried scallops to creamy pasta versions. The range is diverse!

Truffle shuffle
Visit Prime steakhouse for a luxurious evening of truffles at the peak of their season and the height of their flavour. Sample a variety of truffle dishes including black truffle ravioli, lobster salad with truffle dressing, Tournedos Rossini with truffle sauce and dark chocolate fondant cake with truffle ice cream. You can even order per gram.

Pancakes people
At Hwang, guests will be treated to a special live station where they will see the chefs creating tasty pancakes, including dishes such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki and buchimgae.

From classic curries to exotic Pattaya prawns and delicate tofu dishes, Crossroads Kitchen lets you experience authentic Thai food, with three chefs coming all the way from Thailand. QR290, 7.00pm-10.30pm.

BBQ evening brunch
There’s BBQ, bubbles and ribs on the terrace for two Thursday nights in October. A wide selection of classic BBQ favourites are accompanied with a selection of salads, pasta, cheese and desserts. Booking is recommended.

Pink Ribbon campaign
Afternoon tea at the La Mer restaurant. Ladies, indulge yourself at the Ritz Carlton with a welcome drink, flower arrangement and pink sweet give away. Proceeds will be donated to the Qatar Cancer Society. QR180. From 2.30pm-5pm.

Have a picnic
It’s becoming the perfect weather for a picnic. Enjoy traditional picnic treats served on the terrace lawn, such as sausage rolls and Eton Mess. It’s QR290 for adults, QR125 for children aged 4-12. It’s on from 12.30pm-4.00pm.

Chef Massimiliano introduces Italy’s porcini specialities for a fortnight with special dishes on the menu in the evenings.

Dishes from Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore are on show for a week, with chefs creating delicacies such as nasi katok, gulai kambing, turon and cucur udang. Each day is a different national cuisine and beverages are available. It’s QR140.

Happy Nut Day
Grab some Red Velvet cupcakes with assorted nuts and an assortment of chocolate coated nuts are available as well.

Diwali Festival
Spices and fragrances are aplenty at the special Indian cuisine evening to mark the Diwali celebrations in Choices. Packages vary from QR200 to QR425.

Turkish food festival
Taking inspiration from regional foods in Turkey, Al Liwan restaurant will take you on a journey and use influences to create a varied menu of Turkish delights. Join them from 6.30pm-11.00pm.

Spanish delights
Grapes and Spanish cuisine marry up to make an exciting Spanish experience, with chef Javier Ponte Taky heading up the menu in The Cellar with a number of food deals throughout the celebrations.
