Aroma: They won Highly Commended Business Lunch at this year’s Restaurant Awards, for good reason. Their lunch offerings are truly delectable, and we appreciate their highlighting of healthy choices, including healthy desserts. Their Rushed for Time Business Lunch continues throughout Ramadan.
Open noon-2pm Sunday-Thursday, with a choice of three courses for QR90. Kempinski Residences & Suites (4405 3325)

Chi’Zen: Grab some authentic Chinese flavours for lunch this month, with their lunch menu open during daylight hours. And, with family style portions, it’s great for sharing with friends, or sampling new dishes by sneaking a bite off your friend’s plate.
Open daily from noon-3pm. Oryx Rotana (4402 3484)

Coral:
The restaurant formerly known as The Café relaunches with a fresh new face and fun new flavours. The buffet restaurant offers up lunch and breakfast during Ramadan, with a selection of International dishes from around the world.
Open daily 5am-11am, 12.30pm-3.30pm. InterContinental Doha (4484 4444)

Jazz Club: Want a little rhythm and blues with your lunch? The Jazz Club presents a buffet for both breakfast and lunch during Ramadan, with a mix of International offerings that always seem to have a fun twist on them.
Available daily from 6am-10pm, noon-3pm. Oryx Rotana (4402 3333)

J.G’s Sandwich Cellar: This British favourite offers up great French toast, solid fish and chips, and more sandwiches than we can fit between two slices of bread. They’re even willing to go bespoke for you, and tailor a sandwich exactly how you like it.
Open Sat-Thurs 6am-10pm, Fri noon-10pm. Ras Abu Aboud (4435 7559)

La Mer: Whether you’re craving a bit of fine dining at breakfast or lunch, La Mer has you covered. With contemporary European favourites on offer, we’re hoping the amazing scones we usually get in their cafe make an appearance.
Open daily 6.30am-10.30am, noon-3.30pm. The Ritz-Carlton Doha (4484 8000)

Market by Jean-Georges: The king of all lunches (and we should know, it won our Best Business Lunch award this year), you can still get a taste of that amazing tomato soup or great grilled salmon, as well as their other homey favourites, throughout Ramadan.
Open for a la carte lunch from 11am-4pm and their special Express Lunch from noon-4pm. W Doha (4453 5353)

Mawasem: Specializing in buffets, there’s a little something for everyone here, making it perfect for lunch. Whether you want seafood, sushi, Asian wok dishes, grilled items or Indian tandoor, you can find it here.
Open Sat-Thurs 6.30am-10.30am, noon-3pm, Fri 12.30pm- 3.30pm. Doha Hilton

Mykonos:
Go Greek for lunch! With a selection of fresh and hearty Greek and Mediterranean dishes on offer, this one has won our Best Family Restaurant award two years running, for its kid and parent friendly fare. Their poolside location is convenient, but this time of year their indoor seating area (with AC) is required. Grab lunch from their newly revamped summer menu.
Open daily noon-11.30pm, inside. InterContinental Doha (4484 4444)

Ric’s Kontry Kitchen: What would breakfast or lunch be without this year’s Best Budget Restaurant’s hearty American classics? Come for the eggs and French toast (or the biscuits and gravy) stay for the tex-mex lunch offerings. Alas, during Ramadan you’ll have to take your comfort-food delights away to eat at your desk: they only do takeaway.
Open for take-away only daily 8am-5pm. Ras Abu Aboud (4443 7846)

Three Sixty: Doha’s only revolving restaurant gives you great views and the ability to sample classic European dishes with a contemporary twist during the day. Their Caesar salad is really something special, and we’re hoping it’s on their Snack Menu during Ramadan.
Open daily from 10.30am-noon and from 3pm-7pm. The Torch (4446 5600)

The Cellar:
Winner of our best Bar Food award, it’s so much more than nibbles for a night out. It’s great for sharing, and their set menus always introduce us to new flavours and dishes we’d never think of ordering before we’d tried them. Their Business Lunch includes three courses for QR85, guaranteed to be served in 60 minutes.
Available daily from noon-10pm. Oryx Rotana (4402 3333)

Vine:
One of Doha’s newest restaurants gets in on the lunch act, open daily for breakfast and lunch during Ramadan. The contemporary American menu is inspired by California, with ethically sourced, sustainable and organic items on the menu, many of them imported especially for the restaurant. So feel good and taste good? Awesome.
Open daily 6am-11am, noon-4pm. St. Regis Doha (4445 0105)

W Café: You can still get your cupcake fix, as well as a tasty sandwich. With funky seating and excellent coffee, as well as those aforementioned cupcakes, it’s a safe bet for a coffee with friends even if it’s still daylight out.
Open daily from 10am-10pm. W Doha (4453 5353)

Wok Mee: Wok Mee’s Business Lunch rocks it’s way through Ramadan with a sampling of Asian favourites at lunch time. With dishes from all over Asia, heavy on the Thailand, it’s something a bit different than a sandwich.
Available daily from noon-3pm for QR85. Mövenpick Tower & Suites (4496 6600)
