Grand Hyatt Doha: Celebrate Christmas Eve at the Grill from 7pm-11.30pm with a banquet for QR250, QR395 paired with fine wines, QR125 for kids. Or, head up to Isaan for a holiday Asian style with a menu from the Time Out Doha Best South East Asian Restaurant 2011, including turkey Thai style for QR250 or QR395 paired with fine wines, kids QR125 from 7pm-11.30pm (4448 1250).

InterContinental Doha: The Café Restaurant offers up a Christmas buffet including roast turkey and a glass of bubbly for QR295 from 7pm-midnight. The Belgian Café and Mykonos both have special set menus for QR225 from 6pm-midnight (4484 4444).

Kempinski: Head to Aroma for a Christmas Eve dinner to a soundtrack of piano tunes. Executive Chef Jonathan Spiteri prepares a special menu for QR295, excluding beverages (4405 3325).

La Cigale: Start the holiday season with a buffet dinner at Le Cigalon starting at 7pm including turkey for QR250 , or an Italian holiday at Di Capri or French festivities at Le Central with a four-course set menu for QR275.\ (4428 8888).

Ritz-Carlton Doha: Start celebrating on Christmas eve at La Mer with a special five course menu including a welcome glass of sparkling wine for QR560, or at Porcini for QR520, both from 7pm-11pm (4484 8000).

Sharq Village and Spa: The Sharq gets into the holiday spirit with a special buffet in Al Liwan from 7pm-11pm for QR290, QR145 for kids under 12, or with a five course meal at Al Dana from 6.30pm-11pm, for QR390 including a glass of bubbly. W Doha: Deck the halls with festive sushi at Spice Market from 6pm-11pm for QR220 per person. Get traditional treats at Market by Jean-Georges, which has a special set menu for QR290 with Doha Jazz performing Christmas tunes from 6pm-midnight.
