A fresh concept that completely normalises eating breakfast any time of the day has opened its doors to Doha’s ever-demanding diners. The scene’s foodies already love brunch, and bringing something with a similar vibe throughout the week might just have them in raptures.

Santa Monica Breakfast Club brings LA County vibes with a healthy kick and a SoCal smile in a lively setting – bright colours in a rustic but contemporary ambience, cosy seating and a reading corner to ensure guests forget about work, kick back and have a good time with friends.

Whether West Coast cuisine is your thing or not, the dishes won’t disappoint. Whether you gorge on its Asian-inspired mini steamed buns (Brekkie Bao Buns) with slow cooked and sweet soya glazed chicken, or savour the Pan Con Chicharon, its version of the classic Peruvian sandwich, you’re sure to feel comforted. Try the Black Angus Benedict Burger too, because the beef patty with a free range poached egg and the tarragon hollandaise blended with butter (it’s not for the faint hearted) sits near the top of our must-try list.

The highlight, however, is the signature dish – Boom Pancakes. These are not like anything you’ve had before. We’re talking nine scrumptious pancakes stacked and drizzled with a variety of toppings and fillings including jam, fruits, syrup, and chocolate – all the stuff Instagram-worthy photos and food comas are made of.

Open daily from 6.30am-11pm. Santa Monica Breakfast Club, Grand Hyatt, West Bay (7798 2395).
