Doha Mum’s

Can’t wait for the day? Take your tots to the Doha Mums annual Halloween Party on Oct 13! There are great prizes for costumes for both parents and kids, games and activities. Venue TBD. It’s members only, so it’s a good time to join up! And if your little ones require a sugar jolt before Halloween, why not join the cookie decorating classes at the Movenpick Hotel? Kids make Halloween themed cookies and then eat their creations. October 27, at either 10.30am-12.30pm or 2pm-3pm. RSVP for both is essential.

The Ritz-Carlton

Tuck in to a spooky dinner buffet in the special Sweets or Treats Room on Oct 31, including activities for kids like face painting, costumes and special treats for kids (and grownups) of all ages. Entrance is QR240 per person. Or, book your own Pumpkin Carving Class! The Ritz-Carlton will host your squash-decorating needs, with prices dependant on the size of the class, on Oct 25-27. Open for all ages.

Get ready for a ghoulish good times at the Movenpick Hotel as Jazz Up gets spooky. Free entrance for all, but props and a free welcome drink for those who arrive in a costume! Entrance is free, strictly 21 plus.

W Cafe
When: Oct 14
Eat the autumn Head to the W Doha Hotel & Residences to get your fill of pumpkins (and also their orange cousin, carrots) at the W Cafe’s Pumpkin and Carrot festival. Eat all you can of the best flavours of fall, and get in the spirit, with tasty, not spooky, results. W Café whips up treats starring these too tasty veggies. QR 100 for adults, QR70 for kids, including all you can eat and one drink.

Pearl Lounge

The Pearl Lounge at the Doha Marriott gets into the festive season with their signature Halloween party! Entry is free for all, with doors opening at 10pm. Ladies get three free drinks before midnight and two free drinks after midnight. Almost everyone dresses up for this event each year, so step out in style and compete for best Male and Female costumes. Prizes include digital cameras and vouchers for the Marriott Spa and restaurants. The bar will be serving up special drinks, and each guest will get a commemorative photo taken of their spoken costumes when they arrive.

Irish Harp

Halloween isn’t just for kids! The Irish Harp at Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel adds a spooky twist to their regular Ladies Night on October 31, with a special drinks menu. In addition, the bar will be decorated with haunted flair. Along with the house band, Halloween activities on the night will include bobbing for apples and a best-dressed competition. Entry is free for ladies and QR100 for men, and those who come in costume receive a free Halloween drink.

Your dream costume doesn’t come pre-packaged? Head down to Souq Al Deira—the fabric shops will get you started on your crafty path, and Al Rawnq, officially a button and trim shop, holds a collection of all sorts of random thins to help you complete your look.
