Sundays

Madison Piano Bar, La Cigale (4428 8665)
Start the week off on a high by dancing the night away with the girls to the tunes of DJ Roger Choueiry. Bringing his mix of classic tunes and new favourites, he keeps the dancefloor hopping almost as if it were Thursday and we didn’t all have to go to work the next day. There’s no entrance fee or minimum charge on Sunday nights, and ladies receive one complimentary cocktail.

Mondays

Cigar Lounge, Sharq Village & Spa (4425 6666)
Start the night on a classy note and prove that leather armchairs and cigars aren’t just for the gents. Ladies receive two complimentary cocktails every Monday night, and you can savour them while feeling smugly elegant (and snicker at the men-folk paying for their drinks). With tasty bar nibbles and an extensive humidor, this is more than a cosmo after work. Although feel free to order one – we’re sure the bartender could whip up a mean one.

Pearl Lounge, Doha Marriott, (4429 8888)
Girls just want to have fun, every Monday at the Pearl. DJ Joe Mitri takes to the stage to keep us going into the work week for a special ladies’ and couple’s night (they haven’t forgotten the XY set). The girls receive a free welcome drink when entering before 11.30pm. Membership required.

Tuesdays

Lava Lounge, InterContinental Doha (4484 4444)
Why have one martini when you can have several (particularly when they come in exotic and strange flavours)? With free drinks for the ladies from 8pm-11pm, we’re beginning to think Lava has designs on our collective virtue (or at least likes to watch us do our best James Bond impersonations).

Wednesdays

Crystal, W Doha (4453 5353)
Celebrate hump day with the rich and Doha-famous at Crystal. The lights are turned low, and if you’re lucky the venue will have rolled out the red carpet (literally) for grand entrances. Ladies receive tickets for two free cocktails if entering before 11pm.

Paloma, InterContinental Doha (4484 4444)
The best nachos in town and free flowing house beverages after 10pm? Sign us up! With an open bar for those in skirts (kilts don’t count. It’s best if you don’t ask how we know this), and new entertainment, the Big Mouth Band, rocking the tunes, it’s a live-music pit-stop complete with available dinner. Olé indeed!

Thursdays

7, La Cigale (4428 8665)
Thursday, sweet sweet Thursday! Start it right with a man who knows his tunage, DJ Master J (otherwise known as Jared McCulloch). Although gentlemen are more than encouraged to attend as well, it’s ladies that are the stars every Thursday at 7, with the minimum charge being waved. Membership required.

Pearl Lounge, Doha Marriott, (4429 8888)
It’s Ladies’ Party Mania every Thursday at the Pearl Lounge. DJ Joe Mitri is back and has us shouting, ‘Hey Mr DJ, put a record on.’ Ladies receive a free welcome drink when entering before 11.30pm. Membership required.

Fridays

7, La Cigale (4428 8665)
DJ Master J and DJ Roger Choueiry are back, this time teaming up in a double-trouble extravaganza that’s sure to make you wish you’d worn slightly more comfortable shoes. No minimum fee for ladies, membership required.

Saturdays

Pearl Lounge, Doha Marriott (4429 8888)
End the week with a shimmy and a shake at Bollywood night at the Pearl. No entrance fee for ladies, and because by this point we’re all feeling a bit sad for the boys, they get in free too. We do spoil them so.
