Serotonin
4/5

Where this London quartet’s last, synth-splashed record was giddy with the thrills of being 21, Serotonin deals in heartbreak, as picked over on the sepia-tinted ‘The Girl Is Gone’ and the plushly harmonised ‘Too Late to Talk’. But instead of romance found and lost hanging slit-your-wrists-heavy over the collection, the Jets put their dreamy, uplifting spin on it. Coming of age never sounded so good.
