Pulled Apart by Horses
3/5

This Leeds quartet’s anarchic live shows inspire cathartic mosh-pit mayhem. Their music is a full frontal assault: muscular riffage, hoarse, brutal howls and pummelling beats. ‘I Punched a Lion in the Throat’ is by far the best song on here. It’s one of the few moments when singer Tom Hudson’s relentless vocal slips into a more funk-filled groove. Don’t listen to them when suffering from an ear infection or a headache, but PABH’s brand of chaos is more invigorating – and pleasurable – than a glass of icy water in the face.
