It’s official, Ed Sheeran is coming to Dubai.

For one night only on Thursday November 23, the global superstar will be rocking out at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena as part of his 2017 world tour. It’s the first time in two years he’s been to town, and since we chatted to him, and the time since could not have been more successful for him.

It’s been an absolutely phenomenal year for the UK singer songwriter, with his latest album ÷ (divide) breaking all kinds of chart and digital records. He also threatened to send the entire UK singles charts into meltdown when he filled the top 20 with 16 tracks from his previous two albums, taking up the entire top ten.

Spotify users love him, having smashed records for the most streams in one week and one day thanks to his tune Shape of You, and the highest number of streams ever of a single on the day of release.

÷ also reached top spot on the iTunes charts in 132 different countries, so his visit to the city is kind of a big deal.

Pre-registration is the best and easiest way of getting hold of tickets as soon as they’re available, so head to www.117live.com now. Tickets go on pre-sale on Tuesday May 9, ending Thursday May 11 when general sale kicks off.

Time Out Dubai strongly advises not purchasing tickets from unauthorised vendors. The gig is sure to sell out and tickets are going to be in high demand, so stick to authorised vendors to be safe. Please.
