Bryan Adams set to rock Doha! Discuss this article

On December 16th, Canadian Superstar Bryan Adams hits the sands at the InterContinental beach. One of the world’s most played musicians, behind “Summer of ‘69”, “Straight from the Heart” and “The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You”, he’s been performing since the 80s and is still going strong. He’s achieved #1 status in over 40 countries, and holds the record for the longest running #1 hit in the history of the British charts, not to mention an array of Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, a Grammy Award, American Music Awards and Juno Awards, as well as being a Companion of the Order Of Canada and being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame in his home country. The Crooner from Vancouver recently released his latest acoustic album, Bare Bones, as well as his Greatest Hits CD, Icon, and is currently touring Europe, the U.S. and Canada. Fans in Doha can expect a high-energy show full of his classic hits, which organizers say will be a unique experience- where else in the world can you see Bryan Adams up close and personal on the sand, in a crowd of under 5000 people?

He hits the beach on Thursday, December 16th at the InterContinental Hotel Doha. Doors open at 7:30. Tickets are QR 300, and can be purchased by clicking www.itp.net/tickets.
