Celebrate Garangao
Garangao is the kids’ holiday celebrated on the 13th, 14th and 15th day of Ramadan in Qatar. Kids dress up (boys in thobes and embroidered vests, and girls in glittery dresses and headscarves) and go door to door with special bags collecting treats. Traditional offerings are nuts, however in recent times kids look for candy and sweets (and eat them first, of course).
