There are two sides to the Ramada: there’s the old, endearingly worn building, known to all today as the ‘old Ramada’, and there’s the glitzy new building, dubbed the ‘east wing’. On the outside, both buildings are architectural horrors, but on the inside they boast a number of impressive new outlets, including the Bentley’s Grill and Pier 12, bringing the total of restaurants here to a dozen. The new wing has big rooms with pleasant furnishings; however, both are known for their comfort. The Ramada Plaza’s location, close to a number of outlets and the city centre, is its biggest asset.
