Take a step inside La Cigale Hotel’s and you will be treated to an interior design showcase. Everything smacks of class, with sleek, dark wood and marble with quirky accents, such as large silver lounges, sweeping sheets of louvered distressed glass and two rows of potted bulbous and spiny cactuses. The design of the rooms, from the royal suites right through to the 214 guest rooms, is all about art deco. The hotel boasts a great drinking spot in the Piano Bar, while on the food front, Le Crillon, a panoramic restaurant located on the 20th floor, is definitely worth a punt.
