Made in Qatar
Qatar’s burgeoning film scene has been busy. This year’s festival features a three-day Made in Qatar programme, including 15 films. Nov 18, 20 and 23 see short film programmes taking the screen, but get your tickets for these full length Qatar films:
Angel in June
Language: English, Filipino
Set in the Filipino community in Doha, this film follows 13-year-old Angel, a kind, altruistic girl trying to make the world a better place, despite developing symptoms of a terrible illness. Inspired by real-life events, this is sure bet for a tear jerker.
