Just for Kids
Everything’s bigger this year, including the Family Day activities! This year the four days of activities include a bigger variety of opportunities for families to get involved. All non-screening events are free.

November 21-22
Family activities and entertainment kicks off from 4pm-10pm throughout Katara, including live entertainment, performances, arts and crafts rocket-making, sports, storytelling, puppetry, music, dance, kite making and more for kids of all ages. Shows and performances will highlight Qatari customs, crafts and traditions, as well as the talent of local youth. And, as part of the film festival, there will be free film screenings as well as film activities. Children can make their own film credentials and create a storyboard to plan their adventure for the day.

November 23
The Katara activities continue from 2pm-midnight, plus a special screening of Asterix and Obelix: In Britain 3D at 5pm at the Katara Opera House, tickets are QR35.

November 24
The Katara activities wrap up from noon-8pm, plus a special family screening of Rise of the Guardians at 5pm at the Katara Opera House, tickets for QR35. And don’t miss the Kids Only Red Carpet before the film starts!
