Playing a range of genres, they’re best known in Qatar for their jazz stylings. As the house band at the Jazz Club, they take over the stage nightly with their mix of jazz standards and more modern pieces.

They started out with keyboardist Peter Frans and singer Jabu performing in another band in Dubai in 2006. Two years later, they’d started their own band and expanded to their existing five-piece. ‘We’ve been to places like Moscow, Djibouti, Seychelles, Malawi, Hong Kong and Israel but most of our work was done in Dubai working for the last six years,’ says Peter. He says they love travelling to new countries and meeting new people. They’ve had a great response from regulars to the Jazz Club here in Qatar. ‘Live music is more interactive with crowds,’ he says ‘With live you music you are able to see musicians perform before your very eyes. Especially when we play we are full of energy and it enlivens our audiences. Most places where we played, we are as close to our audience as we would like and the music sounds more dynamic no matter where the audience is sitting. So it keeps us up close and personal with our audience.’
