Must-see movies 2012
2 Comments 30 April 2012The summer is fast approaching and it can only mean one thing: time to head to the cinema. Or, retreat to our A/C chilled caves with a DVD. Whichever you choose, this year is a good year for movies. Now that 2011 recedes rapidly in our rearview mirror, we look to the rest of 2012 for our viewing pleasure—which, not surprisingly, includes more sequels, prequels, adaptations of pop-lit staples and TV shows, as well as new entries from old faithfuls like Spielberg and Tarantino. Here are a dozen major titles we’re itching to see in 2012. (Release dates are, of course, subject to change.)

Just a correction to Davis Fear's piece on The Hobbit.
Peter Jackson is a New Zealander not an Aussie. He was born in NZ, lives there and almost exclusively makes all his movies there. The Hobbit (as was LOTR) was entirely filmed and produced in New Zealand. -
