The treatment: We all crave a bit of the cooling deep blue stuff come summertime, so take advantage of Angsana Spa’s hydrotherapy room. The facilities here are a watery wonderland, with a bucket drench shower (literally a bucket of cold water dumped on you) and the cold mist shower. Then enjoy a rubdown like a human snow cone in the ice fountain. But what really got us were the theme-rides of the weather showers. The Spring Shower, Thunderstorm Shower and Tropical Storm Shower turn the cubicle into a trip somewhere where it rains more than twice a year, complete with sound and light shows, and varying temperatures and pressures of water to make you feel like you’ve been caught in the rain. Only in Doha.
