This petrolhead flick seems something of a junior Fast and Furious as two young guys from a small town compete for a spot at a drag racing academy. They start out as best friends bound by a love fast cars and racing, but their friendship and loyalty is tested when they’re put through their lap paces and compete for one of eight spots at the school. This won’t pass muster with high-speed movie purisits – the young cast are energetic but the film doesn’t seem to really get into top gear. However, for completion sakes fans of the Need For Speed and Fast and Furious franchises will probably want to take in the show.
