This jaunty-looking animated feature comes from Bibo Bergeron, director of Shark Tale and The Road to El Dorado. Set in Paris in 1910, the story sees a cinema projectionist teaming up with an amateur inventor in an experiment that results in a monster running amok in the French capital. Expect decorative animation and musical numbers galore: Gallic chanteuse and model Vanessa Paradis voices a cabaret singer who takes the monster under her wing. We’re expecting this to be the translated release featuring English-language voice work from Adam Goldberg, Danny Huston, Catherine O’Hara and Bob Balaban.
