In the closing credits of this stinker, the filmmakers show some YouTube clips of real cats and dogs, some fighting, some cuddling, all adorable. Those clips are infinitely more entertaining than anything in this grating piece of pre-digested family entertainment. If the idea of a bunch of mediocre digital effects slapped on dogs and cats (a dog with a jet pack! A cat in a dog disguise!) sounds hilarious, you might well be the movie’s target audience.
