Bubbles on Two
Typical hotel nightspot with live music and Champagne vibe Discuss this article
Bubbles On Two (because it’s on the second floor and serves champagne, see?) is a pretty average hotel nightspot. Its long, curved bar is crammed full of people who didn’t arrive early enough to get a booth or a table upstairs, though if you find yourself here, don’t be too disheartened. For starters, you’re right next to the bar, which means an instantaneous choice from the extensive menu and first dibs on the peanuts. It also means that you won’t be in the front row when the live music starts; the piano-heavy versions of famous (and not-so-famous) songs are churned out by a crooner who looks like he should be called Sam. Unfortunately, he isn’t. If you stay downstairs, though, you can almost pretend you merely have noisy neighbours.
