We are about to witness the 15th year of exhilarating motorbike racing as the Grand Prix of Qatar completes 15 years of tyre-screeching action. The Grand Prix of Qatar is one of the most spectacular events on the MotoGP calendar and it’s taking place at night under the floodlights of the impressive Losail International Circuit. The circuit, located around 30km outside Doha in the Qatari desert, held its first Grand Prix of Qatar event at the venue in 2004 and in 2008, history was created with the first floodlit Grand Prix ever for the MotoGP World Championship. The 15th edition promises to be the most exciting one with new activities and dedicated fan zones not just for fans, but for the whole family. The MotoGP will take place this year, from March16-18.

In honour of the 15th anniversary of the Grand Prix of Qatar, Losail Circuit Sports Club is hosting a photo exhibition at Katara entitled Speed and Rituals – Emotional Trials. The photo exhibition by Gigi Soldano and Mirco Lazzari will feature several exciting shots from riding moments.

Don’t miss out on the exhibition and more importantly, don’t miss out all the fun at the Losail Club Arena from the giant screen to stay in the know and live music to the food court and several other entertainment activities at this year’s Grand Prix of Qatar.
Free. Open to public. March 1-18, 5pm onwards. Youth Hobbies Centre, Building 18, Katara Cultural Village (4472 9151).
